  Hi Tammy,

I would be happy to try any of your new products.  I have been intending to
e-mail   you for several days.  I have great results to share with you.

At the time I purchased the Skin Saver and Hoof Saver, I mentioned my Friesian
gelding had very bad scabs on his left front leg and some on his right front leg.
Although I know scratches are not uncommon in Friesians, my vet said the scabs
he gets are not due to scratches.  That actually has made it more challenging for me to find products to use because I'm not sure what I am dealing with.

My vet had shaved the legs from the bottom of the knee to the top of his fetlock for an ultrasound.  On the back of his left leg, she could not shave as close to the skin as the scabs were imbedded in the hair.  His leg felt rough and hard from the scabs.  He later had an allergic reaction to the Surpass medication after his shock wave therapy.  The scabs became very irritated.  After talking to my vet, I stopped using the Surpass.  Then I received the Skin Saver in the mail and began using it.  I've tried many products in search of a solution or cure but had never found anything that worked well or long-term.  To be honest, I wasn't sure your product would work either but I had some hope based on the testimonials on your website.

The first few days, I was worried if I was doing the right thing by using the Skin Saver because his scabs looked so bad on the left leg.  I didn't want to make the problem worse but I couldn't tell if it was helping or not.  The reason I kept using it however was because I had put the Skin Saver also on his right leg.  On that leg, he had one scab that was a more typical kind for him.  I put the Skin Saver on it one time and the next day the skin there was normal.  Since the left leg was in worse shape, I thought I should continue using the Skin Saver and give it more time to work.

I was putting the Skin Saver on twice a day initially.  After three to four days, I thought it might be working.  While cleaning his leg, some of the scabs would come off.  So I would clean his leg multiple times until nothing new came off before applying the Skin Saver.  On the sixth day, there appeared to be some new scabs or more scabs than the previous day.  This was discouraging to me and I questioned if it was really working, but I kept up the treatment.  By the 10th day, the scabs were completely GONE.  He lost some hair on his left leg but the skin was healthy looking now.  His leg felt completely normal to the touch.  By this point, my vet had come back to do another shock wave treatment.  She asked what I had been using on his leg as it looked so much better.  :)  She was able to shave the hair on his leg closer to the skin for his next treatment as there were no scabs to work around.

In the meantime, he's had a few scabs and dry skin on all his legs that I have put the Skin Saver on.  These areas have healed after one or two applications.  Now I'm putting it on some old scar tissue around his fetlocks as this area can be very itchy for him.  I'm not sure it's what you intended the product for but I thought it might help soften the skin there and/or make the skin less itchy.

I also have applied the Hoof Saver about three or four times versus daily like the Skin Saver.  He had some rough areas on his hooves before using the Hoof Saver that have now softened and smoothed out.  He also has a tendency to get superficial cracks in the summer.  Really when I bought the Hoof Saver, I thought this would be a good product to use in the summer.  But I like what the Hoof Saver is doing right now to improve his hoof wall appearance.  It will be interesting to hear what my farrier thinks when she comes to trim his hooves.

So thank you very much for your wonderful products!  It's such a relief to find a solution to Casper's perpetual skin problems.  Although he is on a diet that would make most horses have amazing skin and coats, he's always had itchy legs with at least some scabs.  Now I finally have something I can use to help him!

I'm so glad I happened to notice your products in a gift basket at the FHANA convention!  And we would love to try any new products.  They sound very interesting.

Thanks again!

Best Regards,

Subj: TACK SAVER TESTIMONIAL

One word describes "Tack Saver" and that word is Awesome.  I cannot believe how good this stuff is and it doesn't leave a messy residue. After just one application of Tack Saver to some of my stiffer leather products, the leather became soft and supple.  The leather tie straps for two of my new saddles were so stiff when I first got them.  With just two applications it was like I had used the straps for years.  Plus it water proof's leather so I put it on my riding boots also.   Tack Saver is like a miracle because you get 3 products in 1.  A leather conditioner, water proofing, and it is good for your skin.  Like I said this stuff is Awesome. I would recommend Tack Saver to anyone. Sincerely, N. I have been telling all my friends about your product and sending them to the website. I'm still liking what I see with the skin saver and the scratches. I sold a horse to San Antonio and they are picking her up Tuesday. I'm going to give her your sample and the info.

TACK SAVER
Hey Rita, wanted to let you know I used your saddle conditioner this weekend and I do love it!!  I "oiled" two saddle, 3 sets of reins, and 4 headstalls.  I didn't even wipe the dirt off of the saddles and it cleaned them up very nice and like you said not greasy.  I still have about 1/4 left of the little jar, so I didn't put too much on.  I think If it was warm and sunny and let them "bask" in the sun it would really be awsome.  I think you might have something here.  I will spread the word.

From my observation I can say that Hoof Saver clearly is being absorbed through the lower hoof clipping and the outer hoof wall of the foot . Conditioning the coronary band and with consistent usage one should see an improved hoof wall.
